The North West Department of Education is hosting a two-day conference with independent schools in the province to promote quality education through the 4IR and effective partnership between the independent schools sector, the Department of Basic Education, and education stakeholders.

The conference which started on Wednesday, 02 August 2023 will conclude as follows:

*Venue: Seasons Conference Centre, Dihatshwane*
*Time: 09:00*
The conference also aims at promoting innovation, creativity, and technological advancements within the 4IR from an Early Childhood Development (ECD) phase, understanding the roles of teacher training institutions such as ETDP-SETA, and understanding the role of UMALUSI and SACE within independent schools among others.
