North West Department of Education, MEC Viola Motsumi during the Thuntsa Lerole Campaign monitored the examination writing at Sebitloane Secondary School and monitored the construction compliance at Tlhagameng Primary School on Friday, 3 November 2023, at Tlhagameng Village near Ganyesa Village in Kagisano Molopo Local Municipality, under the DRSM District Director.

MEC Motsumi gave 20 principals in Kagisano Molopo circuit cellphones, internet routers, and sanitary towels for their learners.

As one of the major initiatives of the Accelerated Service Delivery Programme – Thuntsha Lerole, Motsumi instructed the service providers to speed up the construction proceess Tlhakgameng Primary school so that it can be ready to accommodate learners next year during the opening of schools.
MEC’s site inspection is in line with the provincial government’ continuous efforts to guarantee communities receives quality service delivery.

The department’ of DEDECT through this Thuntsha Lerole Programme extended beyond regulatory enforcement to include the donation of wheelie bins, to Kegakilwe Primary School in Tlakgameng in encouragement of clean environment. The Department of Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation donated sports kits to various schools of Kagisano Molopo.
