About 147 learners from different special schools of the North West province are competing in several sporting codes with other nine provinces in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province from 03 – 07 April 2024.

The NW team is participating in the following sport codes: Cricket, Blackball pool, Hocker, Indoor rowing, Swimming and Table tennis. .
The North West team is doing exceptional well with its performance against other provinces so far in the tournament.

Cricket
The cricket team has already defeated KwaZulu natal inland and coastal and also Eastern Cape.

Swimming
So far the coach is confident that all the 22 learners will leave the tournament with medals.

MEC Motsumi is happy with the progress thus far and encourages the learners to soldier on and do their best.
