EXAMINATIONS IN NORTHWEST PROCEED WITHOUT ANY INTERRUPTION

North West Department MEC for Education, Viola Motsumi, visited Tlamelang Special School in Gelukspan, Ngaka Modiri Molema District, to monitor the first seating of the English Paper 3 examination.

The school is accommodating 13 matric candidates with physical disabilities who are receiving support from scribers and readers. These learners have also been granted additional time for their examinations. Last year, Tlamelang Special School achieved a commendable pass rate of 77%.

MEC Motsumi expressed her satisfaction with the principal’s organization of the examination process, noting that all learners were able to participate in their first day of exams. Furthermore, there have been no reported incidents that obstructed the examination process across the province’s 490 centers.
