NW Education MEC condemns employees from participating in corrupt activities

NW EDUCATION MEC CONDEMNS EMPLOYEES FROM PARTICIPATING IN CORRUPT ACTIVITIES

In her interaction with corporate staff at Mmabatho Civic Centre on Wednesday, 05 June 2019 MEC Mmaphefo Matsemela gave a firm word of warning to all officials not to engage in corruption activities.

MEC Matsemela had her official meet –and-greet session with the staff as the newly appointed political head for the North West department of Education since last Wednesday 29 May.

In her address Matsemela quoted that the country has recorded a high number of corruption cases.

“The country has recorded a high number of corruption cases and our department is not absolved from this.  I make an earnest appeal to all public servants to desist from participating in acts of corruption because consequences are very dire” said Matsemela.

Matsemela further said she expects all officials from the most to the least to be trustworthy, honest and competent in order to be able to achieve set goals.
