NW EDUCATION EXAMINATIONS RUNNING SMOOTHLY

The MEC for Education in the North West province, Hon. Mmaphefo Matsemela declares smooth running of the examinations process across the province.

Monitoring of examination is intense with centres monitored by officials from Umalusi, National Department of Basic Education, Provincial Education, Districts and Sub – districts in all examinations centres across the province.

Matsemela also joined the monitoring team and visited Kgalatlhowe Secondary School in Motlhabe Village near Moruleng on Monday, 11 November 2019 and is satisfied with the progress.

“On behalf of the department we are happy and satisfied by the smooth running of the examination in the province so far. In areas of identified irregularities such as acts of dishonesty amongst some learners have been reported and appropriate steps are taken. Generally there are no hiccups in all the centres of our province. We would like to thank all stakeholders for their continued support to learners during this examination period”, said MEC Matsemela.

The North West Education department will release the Class of 2019 matric results on the 08 January 2020 at Fields College Secondary school hall in Rustenburg at 09:00.
