MEC MATSEMELA TO VISIT THE TIRELONG SECONDARY SCHOOL LEARNERS PLACED AT THE BOARDING SCHOOLS

The North West Department of Education MEC, Mmaphefo Matsemela will embark on a tour of visiting all the Tirelong Secondary School learners who have been placed in the three Mega Farm schools of Moedwil, Naawpoort and Boons.

The parents signed the concerned forms which gave permission to the department to relocate learners to the boarding schools. The parents voluntarily agreed with the department to accommodate learners at a condusive place for learning and teaching.

The MEC for Education, Mmaphefo Matsemela assured parents that learners will be safe and taken care at the boarding schools.

“I wish to assure all parents of Tirelong Secondary School that their children are in safe hands. As a department we will ensure that those learners who missed days of leaning are provided with a recovery programme. Our teachers are waiting to give them the best support”, said MEC Matsemela.

The tour of visiting the boarding schools by MEC Matsemela will start as follows:
