MEC MATSEMELA MOTIVATES GRADE 12 LEARNERS AT THE SPRING CAMPS

With only 25 days left before the writing of the final matric examinations, the MEC for Education in the North West province, Mmaphefo Matsemela motivated Grade 12 learners who are attending matric camps.

The main objective behind the matric camps is to bridge the content gap and to conduct revision in different subjects.

The province has established 102 matric camps venues, wherein 70 are residential and 32 are walk in camps.

The MEC for Education, Mmaphefo Matsemela shared examinations strategies with the Grade 12 learners at the camps.

“We have arranged the camps for you because we care about your future. We want you to take this opportunity with both hands and use it to your advantage. Ensure that you get assistance in all your problematic areas in different subjects.

“Try to answer all questions. Ensure that you read and understand the meaning of words written on the glossary in your textbooks. That will enable you to pass your examinations”, said MEC Matsemela.

The matric camps are guided by the programme called *”Ngwana sejo oa tlhakanelwa”*. The theme for this year is, *”Ga a sale”, “Leave no child behind*”

The matric camps will be concluded on Thursday, 06 October 2022, while others will end on 8th or 9th October.
