MEC MATSEMELA ASSURES THE COMMUNITY OF SETLAGOLE VILLAGE ABOUT THE RENEWAL OF KGOSI – SHOPE SECONDARY SCHOOL

The North West Department of Education, MEC Mmaphefo Matsemela fulfilled her promise to the community of Setlagole Village in Setlhwatlhwe Section by assuring them about renewing Kgosi – Shope Secondary school during her second visit on Tuesday, 11 January 2022.

The parents of the learners for Kgosi – Shope Secondary school complaint about the dilapidated conditions of the school. They wrote letters to the department requesting for the departmental intervention.

The MEC for Education, Mmaphefo Matsemela urgently responded to the plight of the community.

“I take this time to assure the community of this village that the school is coming for you soon. I was here last year and I was not happy about the condition of this school.

“I promised Kgosi and the community that l will come back. Now I am back to assure you that the process of building this school at an advanced stage”, said MEC Matsemela.

MEC Matsemela indicated that, her next visit will be to conduct a sod – turning to signal the building of the school.
